The district will be holding Community Information Virtual Sessions to learn more about the AISD GT program.

Important dates:

September 5 at 5:00-5:30 PM Baldwin parent information session related to GT at Baldwin

August 20 - October 7, 2024: GT Referral (permission) window for K-5th grades

October 7, 2024: All GT Referral AND Parent Observation/Rating (permission) forms due by 3 pm. No late submissions accepted.

**This is a two-step process, after you refer, please make sure you check your email for the parent observation/rating form to complete.**

September 23 - October 14, 2024: Second Grade CogAT Universal Screener for all Second grade students

October 21 - November 22, 2024: Student testing window - This is both a qualitative and quantitative data collection including standardized test results, teacher input forms, and student work sample collection

December 20, 2024: Parent/guardian decision letters mailed by this date

January 2025: Students newly identified for GT will begin receiving services at school
